Laura has built a huge name for herself in the voice over community, working with a vast client list that ranges from Ace Hardware to Gap to Walmart. Her bookings span voice over genres and industries, and when she works with other talents, she teaches you how to give your clients the reads that book too.
Whether you work with Laura one-on-one or in a small group, she individualizes her curriculum to meet your specific needs. With a Master of Arts degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, Laura brings her teaching savvy with her into the booth. She understands that we all have unique goals and individual needs, so she helps evaluate where her students are when they begin and sets achievable goals for their voice over skills, business goals, and marketing agenda. Laura eagerly works on both voice over technique and the business of voiceover with her students. While some might separate work on voice over craft from building their business, Laura has found in her years as a full-time professional that the two are inextricably linked. As voice actors never have the luxury of separating art from business in VO, when Laura coaches she always keep that in mind.
Laura is different than other coaches. In addition to her client-centered focus, where all lessons are individualized, she also works exclusively with renowned production company All Systems Go- Av, that casts and uses voice over talents regularly to work with her students. Not only does this get students accustomed to being in front of the mic, they can hear straight from the producers what works and what does not work, whether it is the read, their microphone skills and techniques, or their editing.
Laura and the amazing team at All Systems Go AV, made up of Adam, Chris, and Dave, have come together to provide outstanding voice over demo production, with an emphasis on
video demos. All video demos come with an audio version as well. Perhaps you are new in voiceover and you do not yet have a body of work to market? A video demo is the perfect solution.
